    the stage at maxwells is puny (the capacity of the venue is only 350) and because of ganger's twin drum setup, the two drummers were facing each other. the drum stool was later used for stuart to sit on while playing stanley kubrick.

    there were a lot of technical glitches at maxwell's, including a lot of feedback coming out of stuart's monitors. plus, one of his amps seemed to be on the fritz for most of the night, so his revenge at these setbacks was pummelling his guitar with drumsticks at the end of the show.
