ear festival, with to rococo rot and ligament

mogwai headlined the second day of a two day low-priced 'festival' in the effenaar, a venue in eindhoven (nl). other bands were ligament and to rococo rot. ligament didn't impress. to rococo rot were incredible, though.

the effenaar's pa brought mogwai really well. they played a confident set, probably convinced a lot of people.

we found a deid mongo on eccie. mung pie hum baw. about 3000 people were at the rock show. the band kicked a mule's ass. ligament joined the tour and were really loud. they are a band of midgets who all hail from a village in cornwall, england where electricity has not yet been invented. they have webbed feet and claws. they marvelled at our shoes and fitted clothes for most of the evening.

valerie cut her thumb having to go to hospital in the rush as ligament had never before laid eyes on a girl (in their village, once a woman has given birth to her first born she is slaughtered in front of a jeering crowd). we decide to make new t-shirts proclaiming the truth that is blur are shite.

big aitchy says that the ladies were fine. a hash café visit was cut short as a bunch of dodgy moroccans tried again to steal the band's shoes.

after some tasty soup, we slept blissfully on our luxury tour bus as england quaked in fear at the thought of this weekend's impending minority nailbombing.
