part chimp had a few technical difficulties, during the opening of one song
one of their guitar pedals broke so they had to spend some time figuring out
what went wrong which kinda threw them off. they had a bunch of broken
strings too, but they still put on a really good show, definately one of the
better bands i've seen open up for mogwai on the east coast.
mogwai came on about 45 minutes later. stuart was wearing one of the new mogwai t-shirts and thanked everyone for missing the football game (opening day for the local american football team, the eagles). their set was
amazing although it didnt seem as loud as usual and they seemed to put more
effort in the light show then they used to. brilliant show.
