i saw mogwai last saturday in copenhagen, and again they proved themselves to be an outstanding live band. i feared they would play a lot of cody songs, but luckily they seem to realise that the older stuff is way better, live at least. and no, i don't count xmas steps or ex-cowboy as "real" cody songs, they're both available on older releases in much better versions (if you count the nme release of ex-cowboy live)... i was too euphoric to remember the playlist exactly.
