a personal highlight for me was the encore, particularly jewish hymn. stuart had broken a guitar string about a quarter into the song but continued to play the rest of the song without switching guitars. towards the end, with the traditional wall of feedback, stuart ripped his remaining guitar strings off, faced his guitar directly at his amp and created his feedback by manipulating his effects pedals, mostly his wah and tremelo pedals. john used the duct tape from his set list and taped the strings of his guitar directly against his guitar pickups. john also tore his guitar strings and faced his guitar to his amp and finally placing his guitar on top of dominic's bass to create more noise. overall, another great show from mogwai and i left wanting more noise.
