Encore: Thanks Sam Supported by Balam Acab
from Sam Hunt: Drove up to Charlottesville from Asheville, NC to catch the Gwais again. Driving to DC tomorrow, too! Killer venue. Killer sound. Very, very loud. Setlist was good but none of "big 4" (2 Rights, Satan, Herod, My Father My King) were played, which surprised me. It was great to see Helicon 1, Ex-Cowboy and Ratts of the Capital again. "How to be a Werewolf" and "I Know You Are" were highlights as well. I wish I lived closer to Charlottesville, a great little town indeed! The Jefferson Theatre was tremendous. Just sounded incredible. Possibly the best sound quality i've ever heard??!! from Tom Mullen: Not a huge turnout for this show - Charlottesville is a small town, home to the University of Virginia, but school is out of session for the summer. Maybe only 300 people attended. Regardless, the crowd were very attentive if a bit subdued.
