    From Rick:

The concert at the Cactus Festival by Mogwai was great. The show (as scheduled) started very late: 23:40 hours at night, after a steaming performance by homefavorites, Belgium-based dance-band Arsenal, with the crowd going crazy there, it was hard to top that. But i guess at least 5000 visitors stayed to listen to Mogwai at the end of a real beautiful sunny day in Bruges. The band seemed to be in perfect spirits, with Stuart joking and chatting a lot to the audience (the day before they had played in Rome, supporting Skunk Anansie: well, after that the only way was up, according to Stuart. A bit later he even asked the crowd to sing for Barry's wife's birthday!)

There were some technical problems during the concert (there was constant gesturing to the sound technicians and talking between the band members), but for the perfectionists of Mogwai the sound quality probably never will be good enough. But for me it was more than OK, I enjoyed the complete show very much, I think it was just fantastic.

Mogwai played a full-length set, without an encore. They finished the show with Mogwai Fear Satan around 1am. What they played was very well suited for a festival-audience with songs like Mogwai Fear satan, Helicon, Killing all the flies, Two rights. The version of Mexican Grand Prix was a monster. Very cool.
