    from nick:

    mogwai were in stunning form.
i love seeing them in smaller venues. the guitars absolutely shone on friday - these guys seem to have an ability to make guitar music sound like no other band and their influence is still felt in new bands today.

the new stuff was immense, even though it was completely new to me i was riveted. interesting that mark beaumont in the nme reviewed their single and said "if you believe this band is any more radical than snow patrol now, sir you kid yourself". i would suggest to this no-brain that he either gets out a bit more or gets a new job.

mogwai - still sparkling still inventive, now much more copied but still without peer. the new material sounds fantastic to me.

errors and the magnificents were quality support bands too.
