firstly i should point out that i am completely deaf. but it sure was worth it. best of the three dates i've seen on this tour, the band were tight, polished and brutal. the wall of noise created on almost every tune was immense beyond belief, louder possibly than any other time i've seen them play. highlights included a fantastic version of 'xmas steps' with luke sutherland on violin and an ear shattering 'stop coming to my house'. 'mogwai fear satan' was as tight as i've heard it played and 'ratts of the capital' was deservedly moved into the encore with luke sutherland again joining the band, this time on 6-string guitar. cello accompaniments on 'golden porsche', 'hunted by a freak' and '2 rights make 1 wrong' also added to the sound. couldn't be happier :)
