i saw them play a live show in a very nice and relaxed, relatively uncrowded night spot called the zoo (brisbane, qld). i think a lot of people came out of curiosity..not knowing exactly what their records sounded like...because not enough people looked justifiably terrified during the bass bit in christmas steps. poor fools never knew what hit em. i took my younger cousin...it was so cool cause he'd never even heard anything like them before and just ranted and raved all the way home. the downside being that he still has my copy of young team to this day...the snootch.
