The setlist has a note at the top saying 'Primavera and Immergut' but the list was changed slightly for the Primavera show the following night.
A solid festival performance from Mogwai in Neustrelitz (near Berlin) at the Immergut Festival. Set was 75min. Nice to have Martin behind the drums after his absence on the US tour. It was very apparent that he had lot of fun playing! Unfortunately it was very cold and frosty weather so Barry had his hoody on his head for most of the set. Dominic had visibly cold hands and warmed them often with his mouth.
Setlist had no surprises, and included all the known goodies for a festival gig! Crook video on Auto Rock, Barry on vocooder on Thatcher (much better;-)) Great Helicon, Pedro, Batcat and Satan, enjoyed Werewolf too. MGP was short and compact! Better, IMHO, than at Huxleys in March!
Of course some drunken honks amongst the audience. For example, the quiet intro of Helicon 1 was barely audible. I think Satan was shorter than some versions they've played recently.
I think Mogwai will be happy to play today in much warmer Spain at Primavera.
