yesterday evening i was at the dutch show in amsterdam. and i must say i am a bit disappointed. a lot seemed to go wrong on stage and with stuart having to silence the audience (i totally agree with him by the way), at first it seemed like mogwai were not having fun. although later on things seemed to go better.

and what's with these the stupid decibel regulations? fuck that!!! people who come to a mogwai concert (or whatever other rock show) don't want to be protected, they can protect themselves. i really missed the extra power of sonic armageddon in 'fear satan' (and every other song). thank you very much holland for being so very nice and regulated. i think i have had the dubious honour of having seen the most quiet mogwai show ever. (not even 15 minutes of noise as an encore). next time i'll buy a ticket for antwerp or some other belgian venue.
