    From Chris:

excellent show. i've been a mogwai fan for many years (this was my 14th show), and i can honestly say that the band (particularly stuart) seemed to be in one of the best moods and as pleased with the crowd as i've ever observed. correspondingly, the crowd was as into the music that the band was playing as i've ever seen at a mogwai show. probably the nicest venue both aesthetically and aurally that i've ever been to. coming into the night i had not really cared for the studio version of 'mexican grand prix' and to a lesser extent 'how to be a werewolf', but my goodness was the live version totally different, a real highlight of the show as dominic's bass translated so much better on both tunes. one of the quieter mogwai shows i can remember, until the last 4 songs, where the level really ratcheted upward during 2 rights, and continued through the encore. one of the loudest versions of 'auto rock' i can remember. great show. looking forward to tonight in denver and tomorrow in salt lake city!
