the evening's entertainment also included a screening of the 'zidane' movie.
k15 festival

the venue was a normal theatre, but a rather small one with about 800 seats. it was officially sold-out, but a decent amount of seats remained empty, probably local people with "season tickets" who were shocked when they heard a *rock band* was supposed to play. the merchandise was sold by the theater's personnel who had clearly no idea what they were selling; very funny indeed. i told them before the show there wouldn't be any singing (didn't know cody would be on the setlist) and they thought i was mad :o)
some people were equally shocked when they realized they were going to watch a complete football match first. i spoke to a lot of people who expected to see some minutes of footage. i have to admit that it was the first time for me to watch the whole film, too.
the gig was good. it was very interesting to see them play a fully seated show. i hoped they might play autorock, small children or mfmk and i got 2 of these, so i was quite happy with the set.
